Having a very busy schedule/life is too challenging at times. Â Juggling things is a routine. Luxury of time seems so distant. Communications over the phone is a way of life; that is, if the person on the other line is communicating well. For customer service, good communication is just one of the keys in Customer Service especially in Maid Service. For the longest time I had a regular maid servant from the same company who would do the cleaning so well. After she has to find another job, I had no choice but to hire another one. Unfortunately, not all people are created alike. This one has so many flaws in her work that is not to say flaws in her attitude. Anyway, as regular as I have my home cleansed every two weeks, and every time, I have complains. If not for an excellent customer service, I have dropped the home cleaning company where I always get the cleaner.
 Here are some of the complaints I had and how the customer service responded.
- The cleaner forgot to clean my bathroom.
I was so annoyed finding my bathroom untouched after the cleaner was gone. I hate untidy bathroom. I called on the customer service to complain, I was surprised that the cleaner went back the day after to clean my bathroom with no extra charge of course. I felt so valued as a client, not to mention how calm, courteous and respectful the customer service are.
- One time, I was so sick that I have to reschedule my cleaning.
There was one time I was so sick I can hardly move. Though I seldom get sick, when I do, I just wanted to be alone drinking my meds and a lot of liquids (juices and water). I almost forgot, that day is also my cleaning day. Fortunately, I was able to reschedule it hours before the appointed time for the service. I was able to get in touch with the customer service to try to reschedule it even though they have a policy that says I need at least 1 day to reschedule my cleaning time. Well, again, they were so gracious to reschedule it as a consideration of my condition that day. Walking extra mile for a client is indeed a customer service at its finest.
- Calling clients to inform about a problem is not a problem but a solution to the problem.
While I was doing a quality time with kids at the mall, I got a call from the customer service informing me that the cleaner was not able to come to work when I needed the cleaning badly. It was not a perfect timing though but informing me about a missed appointed service does not make the situation worse. It made me feel we are in control of the problem, not the other way around.
These situations might not be the scenarios you have but whatever they are, it is so helpful that you have a customer service that can solve your cleaning problem regardless if they are self-made or not.
